The following is a guest post from Dominick Damico from Augmently. Augmently is an influencer marketing agency.
Due to popular demand, I have decided to provide a comprehensive breakdown of exactly how I was able to grow my Facebook page to 220,00 followers in one year, for only $1,000.
The Facebook followers are 100% real and the screenshot below shows that they are engaged as well:
The advice I provide in this article is structured in a way so that you can go and repeat this today.
The Step-By-Step Guide To Growing Your Facebook Page
Step 1: Find Your Niche
It’s critical you pick a niche that is both content rich and influencer rich.
The niche I chose was the cannabis niche.
It would be very difficult to replicate these results if you pick a niche that has minimal content and influencers.
Try to go for one of the big ones (fitness, fashion, food, memes, cannabis, video games, etc).
Step 2: Create Your Page
This step is fairly straightforward.
Create a page within the niche that you select, but be sure to find your angle.
Rather than being a food page, try to narrow it down a bit. Examples could include best junk food, healthy recipes, sweets and desserts.
Or, maybe you cook it in your kitchen. Maybe you only order it off food apps. Or maybe you only do vegan recipes.
Find your angle within the niche and dominate it.
Step 3: Sourcing Content
While you can try to create your own content, this can be difficult as it can often be hit-or-miss if you don’t understand the fundamentals of virality or creating engaging posts.
Once you have your niche and your angle, utilize Instagram to source content that is already proven.
Create a fresh account and follow a bunch of pages that are within your niche. The algorithm will start showing posts relevant to this niche on your explore page.
Utilize their performance on IG to determine how well it will do on Facebook. For example, if you’re scrolling through your feed or explore page, and you see a post that is doing significantly well in terms of likes, views, engagement, etc, then you know it will do the same on Facebook.
Pro Tip: Always be sure to get permission from the original creator or to tag them in the posts. 99% of the time, people love the free exposure.
Step 4: Establishing a Distribution Channel
You now have your niche, page, and system to source proven content. Now you need to get it in front of people.
You need to reach out to pages in your niche that have large audiences and figure out how much they charge for a share.
If you reach out to enough accounts, you’ll likely find a killer deal within the bunch.
I was able to find a deal where I could get a share on a 1M page in my niche for $10 if I bought 100 at a time.
Once you find your killer deal, pay these accounts to share the content from your page.
Step 5: Grow, Grow, Grow

From here you should be able to grow, grow, grow.
It’s very important that you focus on posting content that is highly engaging so Facebook algorithm will provide you with phenomenal reach.
Once you start to grow enough you’ll be able to exchange share for shares with pages of a similar size for free.
